Rota: Monday – Friday

Hours: 9am – 5pm | 37.5 Hours per week

Innov8 Agency are proud to be recruiting a Corporate Partnerships Development Manager for our pioneering and established international client with headquarters in the Newcastle-under-Lyme Staffordshire area.

Purpose of the role:

The Affinity Corporate Partnerships Development Manager will create, operationalise, deliver and optimise high level corporate income streams in accordance with the current organisational strategy including cultivation events and activities to drive new donor growth within the HNWI (High Net worth individual).

This role will include managing sustainable unrestricted long term corporate funding from companies and other organisations, engaging with employees through a comprehensive programme of fundraising activities.   

Duties & Responsibilities:

The Corporate Partnerships Development Manager will have the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the Director of Commercial Activities to create a strategy to improve the management of current sources of income, introduce new initiatives to grow income and develop relationships through a carefully planned corporate supporter development programme.
  • Identify affinity donors and partnerships Nationally and internationally.
  • Further develop relationships (with existing relationship managers where applicable) with corporate supporters in order to build and increase their support and fundraising activities for the charity.
  • To work collaboratively with colleagues to develop an appropriate level of appealing, relevant, deliverable and accurately budgeted projects and to initiate and approach potential corporate partners for support.
  • To identify opportunities for cause-related marketing and develop compelling proposals
  • To work with colleagues across the organisation to produce appropriate communications to corporate supporters.
  • To ensure appropriate systems and processes are in place, monitored and reviewed to maximise income generation activities with corporates and their employees to optimise outcomes for the charity.
  • Proactively initiate and develop internal and external networking opportunities to promote and enhance the corporate supporter base.
  • Make risk based analyses to focus effort and resources in the most efficient manner, ensuring maximum ROI is achieved for each activity undertaken.
  • Attend in-house and relevant external training courses, as agreed with line manager
  • Practise and comply with all policies and procedures
  • Ensure GDPR / other Data Management compliance across all relevant activity
  • Ensure that all activity helps to build the brand and is at all times brand compliant
  • Promote and embed Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) in all work and ensure community engagement information is communicated in plain English and meets accessibility requirements
  • Build and develop a multi-year pipeline of high value partnership opportunities to deliver the core services of the organisation and maximise revenue opportunities through new and existing supporters in HNWI’s, Corporate, SME, Government and NHS Sectors.
  • Using a dynamic leadership approach, exemplified by innovation and creativity, to research partners, identify key players and generate interest.
  • Collaborate with all staff across the organisation in delivering its strategic objectives.
  • Forecast, measure and report the results of projects through KPI’s.
  • Maintain an awareness of market trends, news, events and legislative analysis in the UK relevant to your sector.

Candidate Preferred Criteria:

  • Passionate about delivering excellence.
  • Extensive fundraising experience – preferably within a similar role
  • Consistent record of achievement of significant donations from corporate supporters and their employees
  • A successful record of expanding a donor base or business development through cultivation and excellent stewardship
  • A creative, strategic thinker with experience in developing organisational and campaign strategies
  • Excellent organisational, written and oral presentation skills with the ability to articulate the mission, goals and activities with passion and enthusiasm
  • The ability to communicate often complex concepts in a clear, concise manner
  • Superb interpersonal skills and the ability to influence alongside having a personal presence
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve overall organisational income goals
  • Flexible, adaptable, tenacious and enjoys working in a fast-paced growth environment, with the ability to work to tight deadlines within constraints
  • Experience of a complex environment, ensuring speedy decision-making and systematic approach to overcoming obstacles
  • Excellent IT skills, including mainstream office packages and experience of using donor relationship management systems to manage own pipeline
  • Experience of Health & Social Care / Disability (including Autism) Sectors would be an advantage.
