Project Manager (Water & Sewage Systems Design)

Salary: Up to 35,000 SAR per month (Equivalent of £88,000 per year tax free) 

Location: Saudi Arabia

Contract Type: Permanent / Full Time

Rota: Sunday – Thursday | Time: 8am – 5pm

Innov8 Agency are proud to be recruiting for our innovative and established construction client in Saudi Arabia; who are seeking an experienced Project Manager (Water & sewage systems design) to lead innovative and futuristic water construction projects in the region.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Construction Project Manager who is a qualified engineer with 10 years of experience of complex infrastructure construction projects including Water and sewage systems, preferable in the MENA and GCC regions.

A strong background in complex government and semi government and commercial projects is required for this role.

We are looking for someone to:

  • Play a leading part in plans to study, analyze and design the entire Infrastructure systems using the latest engineering, hardware and software design concepts and principles to create a compatible infrastructure that is in line with codes and authorities’ requirements.
  • Play a leading part in Coordinate and following up the projects. Organize and distribute receiving data and serving as an interface between team members, managers and clients.
  • Supervise and deliver the design and construction of water and sewage systems
  • Review the project schedule deliverables and monitor progress and report accordingly including any suggested mitigation measures to make up for any delays or potential problems

Duties and Responsibilities:

Construction Project Management:

  • Overseeing the design and implementation of water and sewage systems projects.
  • Ensuring adherence to technical, regulatory, and environmental standards.
  • Effectively managing project scope, timeline, budget, and resources.
  • Preparing design reports for wet utilities projects.
  • Coordinating with local authorities, clients, and project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Supervise Design team (Junior Engineers/draftsman).
  • Coordinating project schedules, resources, and information.
  • Liaising with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
  • Monitoring project progress and handle any issues that arise.
  • Acting as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants.

Essential Criteria:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in water and sewage systems design and management. (contractor only)
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline. (Preferably holding advanced degrees or certifications in project management or water resources engineering)
  • Willing to relocate to the region of Saudi Arabia (for a minimum of 3-4 years)
  • Project Management Skills: Track record of successfully leading and completing complex projects. (Expertise in project budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.)
  • Full proficiency in English, both in writing and speaking (with Basic Arabic language skills for professional communication.)
  • Technical and Software Proficiency: Skilled in the use of industry-standard design and project management software. (Up-to-date with the latest developments in water and sewage system design.)

  • Previous experience on $100 million – $300 million projects
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with regional building and construction codes and regulations.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
