Senior Manager (Major Complex Loss & Claims)

Salary: Up to £65,000 per year (plus benefits) 

Location: North West England (Manchester, Liverpool)

Rota: Monday – Friday  

Hours: 9am – 5pm | 37.5 Hours per week  

Term:  Full Time / Permanent  

Innov8 Agency Ltd are proud to be recruiting a Senior manager for our national and international Insurance Client with multiple branches in England Stoke-On-Trent, South West, East Anglia, East Midlands, London, and Scotland regions.

The ideal candidates for consideration will be from an insurance claims, commercial insurance, property insurance background, as well as candidates with transferable commercial experience.

They deliver operations, consulting and technology solutions including excellence in claims, underwriting, distribution, regulation, customer experience, human capital, transformation & change management.

Role Outline:

To carry out the loss adjusting of High Net Worth, Major Loss and other complex claims including subsidence and escape of oil.

You will ideally have a strong background in both Domestic and Commercial claims, and the appetite to operate in a remote team within a fast-paced and continually evolving environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • To handle claims in line with company requirements and particularly the demanding service standards of Major & Chartered life underwriter (CLU) clients
  • To ensure key performance indicator targets are reached and maintained
  • To actively progress and control all cases
  • Understand and effectively implement Company systems and procedures
  • Understand Individual client requirements
  • Ensure technical accuracy of the highest standard
  • Produce high quality personalised outgoing correspondence
  • Handle customers effectively and fairly in line with High net worth insurers requirements
  • Be flexible at all times and able to accommodate demanding appointment schedules
  • Action all work in line with company and client requirements
  • Build effective relationships with clients, brokers and others
  • Communicate regularly with all interested parties
  • Produce reports of highest quality
  • Work within a team environment to achieve best results either on individual losses or group results
  • Interact with existing clients to maintain and further existing relations and procure new business
  • Utilisation of other Davies Group businesses for the benefit of policyholders

Essential Requirements:

  • Required to have previous experience within a similar role
  • To be at least progressing towards or completion of ACILA (Associate of the Chartered Institute of Loss adjusters) FCILA (Fellow of the chartered institute of loss adjusters or other professional qualifications a preference
  • Top quality interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment
  • Dependability and persistence are essential
  • Proven track record of general property adjusting and high net worth.
  • Experience of major losses is preferable
  • Completely flexible approach and adaptable to changing priorities
  • Accustomed to working under pressure in a fast pace, demanding environment
  • Full, clean driving license required
  • Can-do attitude
  • Able to work independently and manage own diary
